Rebecca Judge will begin her ministry at Nativity on July 2 as the Director of Youth Ministry. She has served as Campus Ministry Graduate Assistant at the University of Dayton from 2019 to the present, working with first year students, organizing bible studies, retreats, residence hall Masses, pastoral care, crisis response, and opportunities for prayer and discernment.
Rebecca has a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from St. Josephs University in Philadelphia. After graduating from college, Rebecca served a year with Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry in Richmond, VA, providing spiritual and emotional support to patients and families in a variety of settings in the Richmond Community Hospital. She served in solidarity with marginalized populations through a ministry of presence and sharing the Bon Secours charism of compassion, healing, and liberation.
A native of Philadelphia, Rebecca is happy to be in the Northern Virginia area where family members live, and to be coming to Nativity parish. She looks forward to meeting our teens and volunteers and working collaboratively to expand an already dynamic youth ministry program. She is a good listener and empowers student leaders walking together in relational ministry, growing closer to God, and having fun along the way.
