St. Lucy Food Winter Drive

‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ – Matt 25:40

St. Lucy Winter Food Drive, the single biggest food drive at Nativity.  St. Lucy directly supports Catholic Charities in helping to provide food to the quarter million people (including nearly 88,000 children) in the Diocese who do not know where their next meal will come from.

How it Works

February 15-16: We will hand out blue cloth bags after Masses with a list of food items needed by the Diocese.

February 22-23: We will collect your donations. Please use the blue bags or any other sturdy bag to bring in donations. We will need extra hands to help us load bags.

You may donate financially either online or with envelopes provided. Any donation is welcome!

Food Collection

Please take a food bag, or a similarly strong grocery bag,  to fill with the needed food items from the list below

Before each Mass, on February 22-23, return the bags to St. Lucy trucks parked near the front entrance of the church.

Please make sure the collection bag is secure on the bottom.  Thank you for your generosity!
