We invite you to join Nativity’s OCIA—Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (previously known as RCIA—Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), journey of faith starting September 15, 2025 with our weekly Monday evening sessions from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Fr. Ready Room.
About OCIA
OCIA forms new disciples, as adults prepare to enter the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 4, 2026 with reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion. Our Monday evening sessions continue until just prior to Pentecost Sunday 2026, preparing for life in the Church as intentional disciples. This faith journey deepens one’s personal relationship with Jesus by encountering him through passionate teaching, personal witness, table discussion time with opportunities for Q&A, prayer and Eucharistic Adoration, spiritual events, and a Lenten outreach project. OCIA meets Mondays, starting September 15, 2025 from 7:00–8:30 pm in the Fr. Ready Room.
OCIA is for those:

- Who have not been baptized
- Christians baptized in another faith desiring full communion with the Catholic Church
- Baptized Catholics who have not received catechesis for the other Sacraments of Initiation
- Wanting to know more about the faith
