SPRED (Special Religious Development) is a program for children with developmental disabilities (grades K- High School) who come together with their volunteer/shepherd to learn about their faith and prepare for the sacraments.
SPRED will:

- Encourage personal and spiritual growth in a small group setting
- Foster the discovery of God’s presence in the child’s life
- Provide opportunities for celebration and worship through art, music and spiritual lessons
- Prepare the child for sacraments
Volunteer with SPRED
We are looking for volunteers! Anyone can volunteer, including high school students.
NOTE: All volunteers 18+ are required to submit Diocesan paperwork and a background check. Student volunteers (Grades 9-12) do not need to do this requirement.
