Middle school youth ministry is boring! Yes, that’s what I said… but it’s not true.
At EDGE, that’s what we call it…we talk about the WHY of our relationship with Jesus. Why you need him, why you need to to talk about him, and how to share that joy (or sorrow) with your peers – that’s code for friends – your same age.
We do things like DODGE BALL after every meeting, there are lots of t-shirts, theater, service and some other stuff too. Most importantly, we gather to lead you to a relationship with Christ. Give us three tries.
When: Sundays from 3:30 – 5:00 pm
Where: The Well (downstairs in the school)
Nativity Youth Ministry proudly presents faith formation through THEATER!
After all – “the play’s the thing!” What did Hamlet mean by that? He wanted visible proof of what a ghost was asking him. But… that’s a long play. St. Genesius, patron of the theatrical arts – did provide proof – of his faith in our Lord – when asked to mock our faith through drama. Haven’t heard about him? What about St. John Paul the Great? He was Pope AND an actor.Learn More
Trunk-or-Treat is an annual event for our entire parish community – sponsored by Youth Ministries. Parishioners decorate the back of their vehicles for Halloween, load up on candy and for kids to “trick-or-treat” in a safe and fun environment. Kids and adults dress up and have fun.
BASH is the Diocese’s largest annual gathering of Catholic middle school students (6th-8th graders) every year!
This event is a celebration of our Catholic faith and love of the Lord. We are planning for our middle school students to gather for an evening of faith, fellowship, and fun!
Stay tuned for 2020!
