Rosary Ministry

Nativity’s Rosary Ministry has the important mission of encouraging praying of the rosary!  Join us and learn to make mission rosaries—and much more.  Each month we meet to support our ministry with various activities such as putting supplies together, learning specialty rosaries and chaplets, teaching confirmation and religious education students, and sorting old and broken rosaries.  Come join us for any of our meetings!

Pray the Rosary

In all of her apparitions, the request made most frequently by our Lady was to pray the rosary every day.  At Fatima Our Lady asked us to pray the rosary for peace.  The rosary is a powerful prayer known to stop wars, bring world peace, and convert sinners.  There is even a greater need now to pray to our Lady for her protection and help, for our families, for our country, and for our world.

God wants to hear our voices!  “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst” —Matthew 18:20.  Join us as we pray the rosary together every Sunday evening at 7:30 pm via Zoom. For the link, email rosaryministry@nativityburke.org

Nativity Rosary ministry encourages prayer and devotion to Mary, the Mother of God.  We do this by making rosaries for the foreign missions, for our community, and for our parish family.  We will teach you to make rosaries and chaplets.  We have an important mission, and we need your help!  Join our effective and powerful ministry!

How to Pray the Rosary

” I started praying the rosary every morning and it changed my life.  The rosary has brought me closer to God and Mary and has provided me a sense of peace that I needed to heal from the loss of my mother.  It also helps me to stay grounded in my faith and reminds me to be grateful for all my blessings. “

Learn to Make Rosaries

Register today to learn to make mission rosaries.  Once you register below you will be contacted by a rosary maker. A time will be set up that is convenient for you.  It takes just one class to learn how to make the barrel knot and how to complete a rosary.  All supplies for the cord mission rosaries are provided, and once you learn, you can work at your own pace in your own home.  We teach men, women and children (especially the Confirmation Candidates).  Check out these online rosary-making resources, too!

Donate Old & Broken Rosaries

Thank you for donating old and broken rosaries.  At this moment, we are taking a break from receiving donations as we have received an abundance of them.  We will start up donations again once we catch up with the repairs of our current broken rosaries.

” Fixing old and broken rosaries is my way of giving back to the Virgin Mary for all she does to protect and guide us.  Knowing that I am able to restore these beautiful old rosaries so someone else can benefit from the blessings of praying the rosary gives me a sense of spiritual connection to the wider Catholic Community. “
