RE | Religious Education Program

Registration is still open. Classes started September 17.  We are still accepting students!

Not sure which class to register your child in?  Don’t worry, our online registration system is designed to assist you!  The online registration will ask a series of questions about your child.  Based on the information you provide, our system will prompt you to register your child in the proper class according to the student’s grade and Sacramental needs.

Our Mission

The mission of the Nativity’s Religious Education Program (formerly known as CCD) is to proclaim Christ’s message and help students apply it to their lives to foster community, prayer, worship, and the desire to serve the Lord.

“Catholic education refers to the totality of the Church’s efforts to make disciples, to help all believe that Jesus is the Son of God so that believing they might have life in his name, and to educate and instruct them in this life, in order to build up the body of Christ.” (CF. CCC 4)

An integral part of Catholic Education is catechesis. “Catechesis is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of the Christian life.” (CCC 5)
