Frequently Asked Questions – Young Families

We understand you have many questions about how to get more involved or how to best attend Mass with a young family. We want you to feel welcome and find your home here at Nativity Catholic Church!
What Mass times are most attended by families?
Our parish is very family-focused, so you’ll see families at all of our Masses! 9:00 am and 11:00 am are two very popular Masses for families. The Youth Choir sings every Sunday at 11:00 am and the Children’s Choir sings several times throughout the year at the 9:00 am or 11:00 am.
Is there a cry room in the Church?
We strive to be very welcoming and supportive of families with young children! We do have a Training Room where families with small children may choose to sit. You’ll find a Children’s Cart with coloring pages and other materials your child can use during Mass. You’ll also see beautifully painted versions of the 7 Sacraments beneath the windows.
At what age does Religious Education or Nativity Catholic School start?
Religious Education serves children in Kindergarten – 12th grade. Nativity Catholic School serves children in preschool – 8th grade.
Do you have any resources for children with special needs?
Yes, we have a religious education program called SPRED, which serves children with special needs.
How do I get my child baptized?
This is one of the most asked questions; please find all of the information you need on our Baptism Page.
Do you have a nursery or babysitting during Mass?
Not at this time, but it’s something we’re looking into for the future!
