33 Day Retreat Series Ministry

The Nativity 33 Day Retreat Series Ministry offers small group retreats that follow the 33 Day Retreat Series by Fr. Michael Gaitley.  Fr. Gaitley has written a series of do-it-yourself retreats that you can read on your own or experience with a small group.  Here at Nativity, we welcome you to join a 6-week small group via Zoom.  These retreats are offered twice a year—in the Fall and Spring.  Fr. Michael E. Gaitley’s book, 33 Days to Morning Glory, is one of the most popular Catholic books of the last decade. His retreats have changed the spiritual lives of millions of people throughout the world. This trilogy of consecrations begins with Mary, then to Jesus, Divine Mercy, and finally to God the Father.  For February 2025, we are adding Father Donald Calloway’s 33 Day Preparation for Consecration to St. Joseph.

    • 33 Days to Morning Glory: Preparation for Marian Consecration – October 2025
    • 33 Days to Merciful Love: Preparation for Consecration to Divine Mercy
    • 33 Days to Greater Glory: A Total Consecration to the Father Through Jesus

Join us for Consecration to St. Joseph, The Wonders of our Spiritual Father

Registration is open now. An introductory meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 via Zoom. Join us as we learn more about Joseph’s model of humility, simplicity and righteousness. St. Joseph was specially chosen by God to stand in the place of the Heavenly Father according to the demands of Jesus’ human nature. St. Joseph’s name means “increaser.” Join us as we learn about God’s entrustment of the Holy Family to St. Joseph’s care and how St. Joseph can ‘increase’ God’s presence in our own lives.

Fr. Donald H. Calloway is a Marian Father of the Immaculate Conception. He modeled this consecration to St. Joseph after the 33-Day program St. Louis de Montfort used for A True Devotion to Mary. There are three parts. In Part I, Father Calloway uses the 33-day format to provide a schedule template for the retreat and consecration. We plan to meet virtually via Zoom, once a week for six weeks on Tuesday evenings, 7:45–9:00 pm. Our Introductory meeting will be on 11 February 2025. In Part II, Fr. Calloway applies the titles of St. Joseph from the Litany of St. Joseph as the focus for each daily reading. The exception is the first two days which will introduce St. Joseph on Day 1 and provide a special reading about St. Joseph on Day 2. In Part III, Fr. Calloway provides the reading materials to enhance each day’s focus on one of St. Joseph’s titles. We also prayerfully recite the Litany of St. Joseph each day. It only takes 20 to 30 minutes daily. It is a great way to begin your Lenten preparations.

Consecration Ceremony and Reception: March 23, 2025 after 5:30 pm Sunday Mass — At the conclusion of the program there will be a Consecration Ceremony, which has been described as enlightening and inspiring. All are encouraged to attend. A reception will follow.

Zoom Meetings - Weekly

Each day of the week, there will be a short reading to ponder. At the end of the week there will be a 75-minute Zoom meeting with ample small group discussion time to both share your thoughts and feelings about the readings with other retreat participants. Following small group discussions each week, Father Bennett will also join us on Zoom to share his thoughts on any questions you may have from small group discussions. Additionally, Father Bennett encourages retreat participants to ask questions anytime during the week via email and he will also share his answers with us at the weekly meeting.
