Diocesan One Act & Short Film Festival

Hey 8–12th graders! If you are passionate about theatre and film, or just curious, this is a unique opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ through the arts, and to be encouraged by the presence of fellow artists! You can enter your own short film (no obligation to be at rehearsals), act in a fun, one act comedy or do both! This year, St. Leo the Great and Nativity Youth Ministries are collaborating to allow young performers and film makers from both parishes more opportunities to perform!

Interest Meeting: Thespians, film makers and techies are invited to attend an informal audition and interest meeting on December 11 from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Nativity Music Room. For those interested in entering a short film, please contact Ms. Barbara by December 1 for more information. We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE any youth interested in screen-writing and film production to participate in this portion of the festival! Contact Barbara at theatreministry@nativityburke.org

Rehearsals will be Saturday afternoons in January.
