On this date, the fourth anniversary of the founding of the parish, the groundbreaking for new church was held. In this photo, our pastor, Father Frank Ready turns over the first spade of dirt at the groundbreaking ceremony. To the left is Jack Herrity, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. To the right is Marie Travesky, member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors representing the Springfield District.
