Vocation Update | Brother Jeremy Hiers, O.S.A.
Brother Jeremy Ryan Hiers, O.S.A., former parishioner at Nativity Catholic Church, is scheduled to make his Solemn Profession on Saturday, November 14 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Brother Hiers entered the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil in 2010 after completing the RCIA program at Nativity Catholic Church. Subsequently, he volunteered with Christ House and taught Religious Education at Nativity, culminating his teaching experience as an 8th Grade/Confirmation Catechist in his final year at Nativity prior to entering religious formation with the Order of Saint Augustine (O.S.A.).
Brother Hiers began formation with the O.S.A. on 15 August 2015, with his first year of Pre-Novitiate at Villanova University near Philadelphia; the second year of his Novitiate at St. Rita Cascia in Racine, WI; and the past three years in seminary at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago along with recently completing a pastoral assignment in PA.
