We are a Nativity parish ministry that provides, prepares, and serves Sunday suppers to the homeless at Christ House in Alexandria. We serve several times per year, when there is a 5th Sunday in the month.
We are looking for volunteers to prepare and drop off bagged lunches to Christ House in Alexandria. See details below.
Donations and Volunteers Needed!
We provide, prepare, and serve the food and clean up. This is a wonderful service opportunity for all: singles, couples, and families. We are eager for new volunteers! Volunteers must be age 13 or older.
New Years Eve Service Request
When: Sunday, December 31 | 4:00 pm
Where: Christ House in Alexandria (131 S. West St)
We are in need of 6 people/families to prepare 11 bagged lunches each and drop them off at Christ House in Alexandria by 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 31!
Suggested meal bag contents for Saturday, December 31 include:

- Protein – meat sandwich / hard-boiled egg / tuna package / beef & bean burrito / sausage biscuit/ hamburger / bratwurst / taco wrapped in foil / BLT / hoagie type sub / pieces of chicken / other (please do not put condiments on sandwich)
- Carbohydrate – bread or roll / rice included in a wrap or burrito/ baked potato / potato salad cup/pasta cup/ mini sized corn on cob /corn chips or potato chips
- Fruit or veggie – fresh or in a cup / applesauce cup / fruit cocktail / fruit bar
- Sweet for dessert
- Bottle of water or package of juice with straw
- Napkin
