If you have a worn or soiled flag that needs to be retired, drop it in one of the special collection boxes available in the Narthex and inside the Nativity school entrance from now through Sunday, November 8. All Nativity parishioners are also invited to join the Knights of Columbus for a patriotic flag retirement ceremony at the Holy Spirit School Gymnasium.

Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony
All are invited! This is a great family event and families with children of all ages are welcome. Local scouts from both parishes will help retire the colors and we will honor local heroes. The West Point Glee Club will perform. This patriotic event is a great way to celebrate Veteran’s day and to show the proper reverence and respect for the symbol of freedom that is our American Flag. A reception with light refreshments and fellowship will follow the ceremony.
When: Wednesday, November 11 | 7:30 pm
Where: Holy Spirit School Gymnasium | 8800 Braddock Road, Annandale VA
