Illuminated Rosary

October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  The Knights of Columbus invite you to be part of our Illuminated Rosary on Sunday, October 26 at 7:15 pm.

Este es el mes en el que celebramos el Santísimo Rosario de la Santísima Virgen María. Los Caballeros de Colón los invitan a ser parte de nuestro Rosario Iluminado el domingo 26 de octubre a las 7:15 pm.

For those new to an illuminated Rosary, here’s a brief rundown of how it works:

• • Each bead of the Rosary is represented by a colorful block placed on the floor in front of each participant.  Every block lets the participant know what Prayer he/she must say.
  • All participants will have a white candle with a protective skirt.
  • The participant starting with the Apostle’s Creed will have their candle lit prior to starting. Once done with their Prayer, he/she will light the next participant’s candle, who will then proceed with their Prayer.
  • Once we end with the Hail Holy Queen and the last Prayer, every bead of the Rosary shall be illuminated!
  • We urge participants to say their prayer in a different language if they would like!

Para aquellos que son nuevos a un rosario iluminado, aquí hay un breve resumen de cómo funciona:

• • Cada cuenta del Rosario está representada por un bloque de color colocado en el piso frente a cada participante.  Cada bloque le informa al participante cual oración debe decir.
  • Todos los participantes tendrán una vela blanca
  • El participante que comience con el Credo tendrá su vela encendida antes de comenzar.  Una vez que haya terminado con su oración, él/ella encenderá la vela del siguiente participante, quien luego procederá con su oración.
  • Una vez que terminemos con La Salve y la última oración, ¡se iluminará cada cuenta del Rosario!
  • ¡Los participantes pueden decir su oración en su idioma preferido!
