Knights of Columbus | Father Sikora Council #7992

About Us

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s family, fraternal, and service organization, founded to help members remain steadfast in their faith, to promote closer ties of fraternity among members, and to provide for the widows and children of deceased members. Over the last century it has become an organization of over 1.8 million members in the United States and several other countries.

Outreach

The Knights support the community in the surrounding area and further in a variety of ways.   One that we are most proud of is the Appalachia Home Building Project where we partner with a Christian non-profit organization based out of Omaha, Nebraska to build homes for one of the poorest counties in the USA.  Nativity and the Council now provide on average over 80% of the funding and crew members for the entire building effort and we have participated in building 20 homes.

Handy Knights

If you, or someone you know, are unable to perform basic maintenance tasks or small repairs in your home due to health or other factors, there is a ministry within the Knights of  Columbus that may be able to assist.

Please contact us at handyknightsofnativi[email protected]gmail.com to let us know what your needs are and provide a way to get to contact you. One of our Handy Knights will be in touch to assess your problem and hopefully provide a quick fix.  This service is not intended for jobs better suited for (or requiring) a certified professional or contractor.  If we can’t fix it, we will help you find someone who can!

We do not charge for help, but donations are gratefully accepted to help pay it forward to others.
