NIHCS | Italy During World War II

Please join Nativity Italian Heritage and Cultural Society (NIHCS) this month on April 22 at 7:00 pm for a talk about the complicated topic of Italy during World War II.

Society member Angelo DeCecco will provide an overview of operations on the Italian Peninsula during the war. He recently returned from Italy, where he worked on a project to document American war memorials in the country. We’ll tour Italy through scenes of this terrible conflict and discover how wartime adversity further strengthened the bond between Italy and the US.

Angelo is a retired US Army Lt. Colonel who served much of his military career in Europe. Currently, as an Italian-trained sommelier, he owns a business in the wine industry.

Members will receive Zoom link and reminder later this month. Non-members are welcome by sending a request to togolf@aol.com to receive a Zoom link.
