The Nativity Italian Heritage and Culture Society (NIHCS) invites you to learn about the Italian-American Museum in DC from museum director Liz DiGregorio.
Presentation PDFDid you know there’s an Italian-American Museum in DC? It opened quietly during the pandemic, but hopes to make a big impact. This month, come hear about the museum and all it entails. Liz DiGregorio, museum director, will explain how the museum came about; the different curated themes of each of its four floors, the Italian history of the neighborhood, and relationship to Holy Rosary Church, which features an Italian Sunday mass. As always, a social hour will follow. Members are asked to bring dessert or appetizer, if they can. Become a member at any monthly meeting. Guests are welcome for a $5 fee.
Membership signups for 2023-2024 season continue and Festa di Natale ticket sales start, exclusively for members at the moment. Available tickets will be sold in the narthex at a later date.
Every meeting includes a social hour with dessert and wine. Bring either to share, if you can. We always have great fun!
