Please join Nativity Italian Heritage and Cultural Society for our first program of the season when Dr. Carmine Vittoria will lead a discussion about his book “Bitter Chicory to Sweet Espresso.” Vittoria is Professor Emeritus of Studies of Microwave Magnetic Materials and author of three scientific books, one soccer book, and over 400 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. His first non-scientific book tackles WWII in the Naples area. This human and military story is being told from a child’s perspective in the town of Avella, shedding light on some of the events occurring at that time.
He’ll have copies for sale at a discounted rate of $10 (normally $22). As always, a social hour follows.
