Nativity Italian Heritage and Culture Society (NIHCS) is pleased to herald in the New Year with a talk by Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, Archbishop of the Military Services USA. All are invited to join us on Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 pm in the Nativity School cafeteria.
About Archbishop Broglio
Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio has held positions with the Church all over the world and was ordained as Archbishop by Pope John Paul II in 2001. In 2007, he was named the fourth Archbishop of the Military Services USA and installed January 25, 2008, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
The Archbishop currently serves as Secretary of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and is a member of the Administrative Committee. He has served in many Church positions in the past involving international peace and justice, Canon Law, Church governance and religious freedom. He is a Trustee and Chancellor of Catholic Distance University, among other current positions. He has been awarded numerous international honors.
