The St. Lucy Food Drive, led by our Knights of Columbus and Nativity volunteers, directly supports Catholic Charities in providing food to the nearly 200,000 people (including almost 75,000 children) in the Diocese who do not know where their next meal will come from. The next St. Lucy Food Drive will take place Saturday, June 6.
Volunteer! We can always use help with loading donations; if you’d like to volunteer, please sign up here. If you would like to help hand out the blue bags after Mass on May 30 & 31, please join us in the narthex after Mass.
Volunteer Loading Donations
When: Saturday, June 6 | 9:00 am—1:00 pm
Where: Nativity Parish Parking Lot
The St. Lucy truck will be parked at the rear of the church parking lot nearest Old Keene Mill Road (like in previous food drives). During that time, you can drive to the truck, and our team will take any donations from your vehicle (please place your donations in your trunk for safe and easy removal).
Catholic Charities will also accept monetary donations, especially grocery gift cards (Giant, Safeway, etc.); any donation is welcome! Please make checks out to “CCDA”, with “St. Lucy Project” in the memo line.
Blue bags for donations will be handed out after every Mass during the weekend before our next St. Lucy’s Food Drive.
Thank you and God bless you!
