Nativity Stars Basketball (part of the Arlington Diocese Northern Virginia Catholic Youth Organization (NVJCYO) Basketball League) is open to children in grades 3 through 8 that attend Nativity School or Religious Education.
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
Please prayerfully consider becoming a Nativity Stars basketball coach! We currently need volunteer assistant and head coaches for 3rd–8th grade boys and girls teams.
The weekly coaching commitment is usually one 1.5-2 hour practice per week and a weekend game, plus any administrative work (team rosters, uniform/gear pick up, communication with parents).

Volunteer Requirements
Prospective Nativity NVJCYO coaches have to complete a Child Protection Compliance background check and VIRTUS training (scheduled & hosted by Arlington Diocese). Coaches have to be Nativity parish members, but are not required to have children playing on the teams they coach.
Volunteers are also to complete Concussion Training.
