The Women of Nativity (WON) held its Annual Baby Shower after all Masses on June 6 & 7.  A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed with donations of baby supplies and financial gifts.  Your generosity was truly overwhelming.  More than one organization said “Is this all ours?” when they came to pick up their donations.  Their surprise and gratitude reflected the incredible kindness of our Nativity family.  Because of your support, many babies and families in our community will receive much needed help.  Thank you for sharing God’s love and for making such a meaningful difference.

WON’s Annual Baby Shower supports organizations that help mothers at various stages of the family process. This year your generosity will benefit the MaRiH Center, Catholic Charities Pregnancy and Adoption Services, A Woman’s Choice, ECHO, Lorton Community Action Center, Divine Mercy, Tepeyac and the Options Care Center, formally known as Hope in Northern Virginia. Your kindness truly makes a difference for expectant mothers and their newborns in our local area.

Through these organizations, assistance is given to women before the birth of their child and it continues after the birth so that their babies are clothed, nurtured, and cared for.  Your contributions make it possible for these wonderful organizations to help others!
