World Mission Rosary
Pope Francis has established October as Mission Month.
The Rosary Ministry invites you to pray the World Mission Rosary with us.
When: October 6 at 2:00 pm | after 12:45 Mass
Where: Fatima Grotto at Nativity
Bishop Sheen has said that “Peace will come only when the hearts of the world have changed. To do this we must pray, not for ourselves, but for the world.” Bishop Sheen gave us this rosary of colors to remind us to pray for world peace and the missions. Each decade in the rosary represents a continent: green is for the forest and grasslands of Africa, blue is for the oceans surrounding the islands of the Pacific, white symbolizing Europe- the seat of the Holy Father, red is for the fire of faith that brought missionaries to the Americas, yellow is for the morning light of the east for Asia. Rosary makers will provide this rosary.
