Nativity is proud to participate in the Northern Virginia Junior Catholic Youth Organization (NVJCYO) through the Diocese of Arlington.
The 2026-2027 season marks Nativity’s inaugural CYO Cheer program year! Nativity welcomes registration from girls in 3rd through 8th grades, registered in: (1) Nativity’s Religious Education Program with good attendance or (2) enrolled in Nativity Catholic School.
2026-2027 Season: Registration opens September 9. Practices begin mid-to-late October, games run December through March. Additional Cheer events may be available throughout the year.

Cheerleader Registration
Online Registration and Forms (opens September 9): Registration closes October 5. The 2026-2027 Nativity CYO Cheer registration fee is $100. Reduced Cheer registration fee of $75 for girls who have also registered for 2026-2027 Nativity CYO Basketball. Late-registration after September 25 is $125.

- Second, pay the registration fee and sign the Diocese of Arlington CYO documents for participation through our Online Registration Fee & Documents Form (coming soon).
Notes:
(1) The registration fee payment is processed via PayPal (or check to the parish office).
(2) CYO documents to complete and sign include a Medical Release & Permission Form, Code of Conduct Agreement, and Concussion Fact Sheet to meet Diocese of Arlington CYO participation requirements.
Volunteer Coaches Needed
Consider supporting the Nativity CYO Cheer ministry and sharing your love of God with our youth by volunteering as a Coach, Assistant Coach, and/or Cheer Schedule Coordinator. We are in need of adult volunteers to enable Nativity to participate in the 2026-2027 winter CYO Cheer season. If you have Cheer experience, please prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talent with Nativity CYO Cheer. If you are interested, please indicate during the registration process in SportsPilot, and/or email the Nativity CYO Sports Director/Commissioner at CYOSports@nativityburke.org.
Additionally, we are looking for High School student volunteers to support Cheer Coaches and Schedule Coordinators roles (Cheer experience preferred). Receive volunteer hours! If you are interested, please email the Nativity CYO Sports Director/Commissioner at CYOSports@nativityburke.org.
