The Pro-Life Committee supports all moral and legal activity that will change the minds and hearts of those engaged in anti-life activity. Direct support is given to the annual March For Life (January), the annual Life Chain (October), prayerful and peaceful protest at abortion sites, and support of organizations such as A Woman’s Choice that offer support for women undergoing crisis pregnancies.

40 Days For Life
40 Days for Life is a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization effort with people of many faiths and churches. With God’s help, we pray that this campaign will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our country. Please consider praying with us, you can use the Prayer Booklet anytime!
In the Spring, 40 Days For Life occurs from Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday.
In the Fall, 40 Days For Life starts on the Wednesday forty days from the Sunday before the November Election Day
Life Chain
The Life Chain is held all across the country annually on the First Sunday in October. Life Chains are a cooperative, non-denominational effort of the entire Christian community. The first Life Chain was held in 1987. In 2018, Life Chains were conducted in 1532 towns and cities across the United States and Canada, involving over one million people. Life Chains are safe, legal and non-confrontational. We coordinate each event with the Fairfax County Police who have assured us of their support.

Virginia Pro-Life Day
The next Virginia Pro-Life Day is on January 29, 2025 in Richmond, VA. Hundreds of people from around the Commonwealth participate in morning meetings with their representatives and state government leaders to advocate on behalf of LIFE. It is a powerful display of hope and courage for those who choose to speak for the protection of innocent human life.
